Lane Eight Coffee
Lane Eight Coffee is a leading independent coffee group in London, UK. Serving some of the best coffee in London, Lane Eight has a unique and edgy spirit that Londoners love.
Brief
The Lane Eight Team wanted a website that showcased their locations, with an easy an intuitive navigation system that users could quickly find where to grab a Lane Eight Coffee. Community is a huge part of the Lane Eight Ethos; with their Run Club and monthly events at their stores. This needed to come through in the new website.
Idea
Working with the Lane Eight Social Media Team, the idea was to showcase the spaces through beautiful gallery-like imagery. The Lane Eight locations are all unique, minimalist and different; we didn't want a standard marketing page with a map to the shops. Rather the approach was as if we were building a beautiful gallery. Wide spaces, breathing room, and cinematic imagery.
Delivery
The new site is built on Framer.com, delivering hi-resolution video and crisp images, beautifully. The photography was professionally shot, and the result is a premium cinematic display of the Lane Eight spaces and community, with a luxuriously soft colour palette that lifts the high-contrast photography. The UI utilises earthy tones, and dark roasted blacks, with subtle button animations that add to the User Experience in an incredibly subtle way, barely noticeable, but there.
